Job summary

OnTrac is seeking a Staff Security Platform Engineer (IC5) for a contractor program supporting a critical customer engagement. The ideal candidate will own backend integrations on a policy platform, set technical direction for a small delivery team, and work on a customer codebase with minimal ramp-up.

The role requires hands-on Golang backend experience, MongoDB data modeling, Snowflake data handling, and AWS services.

Qualifications

Hands-on backend experience in Golang.
Experience modeling data in MongoDB for applications.
Experience loading/querying data in Snowflake.
Experience building services on AWS.
Ability to lead technical design and review code.
Ability to communicate with a customer tech lead and translate requests into work.

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day backend integration work and policy platform use cases.
Own technical design for integrations from definition to delivery.
Document design decisions for customer tech lead and delivery stakeholders.
Deliver work following customer standards, code review, testing, and deployment practices.
Provide technical direction and code review for other engineers on the engagement.
Onboard quickly and contribute to integration work early in the engagement.
Communicate progress, risks, and blockers to customer stakeholders.
