Job summary

Releady is seeking an experienced IBM i specialist to join a remote engagement focused on understanding and supporting a legacy IBM i environment tied to E3 replenishment and Dynamics AX data flows. The role emphasizes documentation, knowledge capture, and on-call support for a US-based music retail and rental company.

The engineer will inventory, map, and document custom scripts and interfaces, then hand off to internal teams while providing retainer-based on-call support as needed.

Qualifications

• Senior IBM i depth and E3 replenishment experience.
• Experience reading, debugging, and modifying RPG/CL programs.
• Knowledge of DB2 for i, files, and interfaces to other systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess the environment: gain access, inventory custom scripts, identify E3 version and data flows, report on status.
• Document processes via screen recordings, screenshots, walkthroughs, and notes for usable content.
• Provide on-call support, resolve incidents, and train internal team members for day-to-day operations.
