Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking an Identity & Access Management Engineer (RACF) to maintain the mainframe security environment. You will manage RACF profiles for users, groups, resources (CICS & DB2) and datasets while tuning SETROPTS for policy enforcement.

Expect Tier 3 support and collaboration with teammates on security decisions. Candidates should have extensive RACF experience, familiarity with TSO/ISPF/JCL/REXX, and a strong grasp of access control, data protection, and compliance/audit

Qualifications

5+ years of identity and access management experience; preference for 10+ years.
Deep RACF expertise to manage access to mainframe resources.
Strong knowledge of TSO, ISPF, JCL, and REXX.
Understanding of security concepts like least privilege and data protection.
Familiar with compliance and auditing processes for mainframe security.

Responsibilities

Maintain mainframe security using RACF and zSecure.
Configure and manage RACF profiles for users, groups, resources (CICS & DB2) and datasets.
Modify SETROPTS settings to enforce security policies.
Provide Tier 3 support for mainframe security inquiries.
Review and approve access requests per security standards.
Collaborate with teammates on security matters.
Troubleshoot RACF-related issues and drive root-cause analysis.
