Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a mainframe security professional to administer RACF and IAM across the z/OS environment in Colorado. You will manage security profiles, update RACF rules, and troubleshoot incidents with on-call support and DR testing.

The role emphasizes process automation, documentation, and collaboration with audit teams to ensure IAM standards are met. Strong experience with zSecure/Vanguard and JCL is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in mainframe security administration/engineering in a RACF environment.
• 3+ years of IAM experience.
• Working knowledge of the z/OS mainframe environment.
• Experience with Add-On Security Managers (zSecure/Vanguard), TSO/ISPF, JCL, CARLa and/or REXX, USS Security.
• Experience with AI for process improvement/automation.
• Proficient in Excel and ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain RACF security profiles for users, groups, datasets and resources.
• Implement, review, and update RACF rules to align with policies and compliance.
• Analyze and troubleshoot security incidents and access issues, including 24/7 on-call support.
• Support during mainframe upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery tests.
• Develop and maintain process and procedural documentation.
• Identify opportunities for automation or improvement and design/deploy solutions.
• Collaborate with audit and compliance teams to uphold IAM standards.
