Job summary

Pathward, National Association is seeking a seasoned information security leader to develop and execute strategic information security plans across the organization. The role focuses on application security, identity and access management, governance, risk and compliance, and security assessments.

The candidate will manage risk assessments, oversee policies, and ensure proper change control while guiding internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience.
• Typically 8+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic information security plans.
• Provide technical and regulatory expertise in areas: application security, identity and access management, security governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), and security assessments.
• Manage information security risk assessments and evaluate security issues and controls.
• Provide training and oversee internally and with partners or third parties handling sensitive information.
• Develop policies for Information Security processes and ensure change control procedures are followed.
• Direct security-related tasks in initiatives supporting information security programs (third-party risk, GRC, IAM).
• Serve as information security consultant for the organization and partners; manage risks with third party information assets and service delivery.
• Identify security needs and present products/services meeting those needs.
• Support GLBA, PCI & SOX compliance and Bank Security Act provisions.
• Supervise others: hiring, training, performance, and issue resolution.
