Job summary

Clarvida seeks a Revenue Cycle Operations Analyst to support California Operations by improving front-end revenue cycle performance across programs. You will be a subject matter expert in eligibility verification, payer requirements, authorization management, financial clearance, and billing readiness.

Working with operational and leadership teams, you will identify process improvements, mitigate risks, and drive performance using data-driven decision-making and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in healthcare, business, or related field.
• Minimum three years of revenue cycle or analytics experience.
• Experience interpreting Medi-Cal, Medi-Medi and payer requirements.
• Experience with EHR and billing platforms (IRIS, Avatar).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment on complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Analyze front-end revenue cycle workflows and billing readiness across programs.
• Interpret Medi-Cal, commercial payer, eligibility, and authorization rules.
• Develop and maintain revenue cycle procedures and controls.
• Prioritize issues and coordinate corrective actions with leaders.
• Review billing errors and trends to identify root causes.
• Recommend action plans to improve claim readiness and reduce denials.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards, and operational reports.
• Analyze data trends to forecast risks and drive improvements.
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership.
• Deliver training on payer requirements and billing readiness standards.
• Provide SME input on EHR and billing platforms.
• Collaborate to improve workflows and organizational goals.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and project work.
• Support contract compliance, audits, and operational initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
