Job summary

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Department of Radiology invites applications for an Open Rank - Faculty Radiologist position in Cardiopulmonary Imaging. The role supports in-person, fully remote, or hybrid work arrangements and allows tailoring between diagnostic chest imaging, interventional chest procedures, and diagnostic cardiovascular imaging.

Qualified candidates should be ABR-certified or eligible and have fellowship training in cardiothoracic imaging or substantial

Qualifications

• ABR-certified or eligible with successful medical licensure in Alabama
• Fellowship training in cardiothoracic imaging or equivalent proficiency
• Experience in diagnostic chest and cardiovascular imaging preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret diagnostic chest imaging and cardiovascular studies.
• Conduct interventional chest procedures as needed within the section.
• Engage in teaching, supervision of residents/fellows, and collaborative research.
