Job summary

North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro seeks an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach to support the Head Coach by designing and supervising strength programs for student-athletes. A CSCS or CSCCa certification and a bachelor's degree in kinesiology are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Kinesiology or related field.
• Must be certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS) or by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCCa) and USAW Club certification.
• Current first aid, CPR, and AED certifications or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and supervise strength and conditioning programs for student-athletes.
• Assist Head Strength and Conditioning Coach and coordinate with athletic staff regarding scheduling and injuries.
• Communicate with coaches regarding attendance and injuries and ensure safety and effectiveness of programs.
