Job summary

North Carolina A&T State University seeks a full-time, 9-month Assistant/Associate Professor in Criminal Justice. The candidate will teach campus and online courses, advise students, serve on thesis/dissertation committees, and pursue external funding opportunities.

The appointment emphasizes strong teaching, publication, mentorship, and service, with preferable expertise in digital forensics, investigative science, cybercrime, or cybersecurity. Remote/hybrid options may apply within policy.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or other terminal degree in the discipline with at least four years teaching experience, and scholarly activity and service, preferably in a higher education setting.
• The candidate must possess an established record of strong teaching in undergraduate and graduate level courses; ability to publish in professional/peer-reviewed academic journals and present research at professional/academic conferences; a commitment to mentoring students and collaborating with colleagues to enhance/advance the Department’s research and external funding efforts.
• Additionally, expertise and/or interest in digital forensics, investigative science, cybercrime, or cybersecurity is preferable.

Responsibilities
