Kelso Building Services is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair commercial and industrial HVAC equipment. You'll work on rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers and heat pumps, ensuring optimal system performance.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years in HVAC service, EPA 608 certification, ability to read blueprints, strong troubleshooting and customer service skills, and a valid driver's license

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or HVAC certification preferred.
• 3+ years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician or in a similar role.
• EPA 608 certification (required).
• Ability to support work in the NC / SC Markets.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in HVAC equipment.
• Replace or repair defective components such as motors, compressors, fans, and thermostats.
• Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding service findings and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate service records, including work performed, parts used, and system conditions.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.

• Experience servicing and / or install VRF systems.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and mechanical components.
• EPA 608 certification (required).
• Ability to support work in the NC / SC Markets.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

• NATE certification or equivalent.
• Experience with commercial HVAC systems and equipment.
• Familiarity with digital service tools and mobile work order platforms.
