Job summary

Turner & Townsend is a global professional services firm seeking a Health, Safety and Environment Manager to create and implement health and environmental programs for small to medium-sized clients. This is a remote position based in Sunnyvale, CA.

Responsibilities include promoting a proactive safety culture, reviewing playbooks, ensuring regulatory compliance, tracking risks and incidents, and communicating findings to managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated information and convey performance expectations.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive culture to influence stakeholders and ensure compliance.
• Assist with implementing and reviewing playbooks; drive program consistency and efficiency.
• Manage initiatives to meet regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements.
• Track operational and safety risks; develop risk management strategies.
• Monitor injury, illness, and incident reports; provide prevention recommendations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance; work with management on strategic solutions.
