Job summary

Varsity Tutors in the United States is seeking qualified high school physics tutors to join its online platform. You’ll set your own schedule, teach remotely, and help students prepare for Regents, AP Physics, and college prerequisites using our Live Learning Platform.

Advance your teaching with deep mechanics, waves, and electricity topics, supported by our AI Tutor Copilot. You’ll invoice for sessions and receive payments up to $40/hour, with payouts issued twice per week.

Qualifications

• Advanced mastery of high school physics topics including mechanics, waves, electricity, and basic circuits.
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt explanations to student needs.
• Experience teaching or tutoring high school physics and Regents/AP prep is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1-on-1 online tutoring sessions with high school students.
• Deliver engaging, student-centered instruction using the Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform.
• Adapt lessons and pacing to individual student goals and Regents/AP readiness.
