Varsity Tutors is seeking online High School Physics tutors to join our Live Learning Platform. Tutor sessions are remote, flexible, and set by you, with the opportunity to earn up to $40/hour.

You will work with students nationwide, scheduling sessions that fit your calendar and invoice for your tutoring services. Our platform includes features like real-time support, lesson generation, and automated engagement tools.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of high school physics topics (mechanics, waves, electricity).
• Ability to explain Newton's laws, energy, momentum, and basic circuit concepts.
• Experience explaining concepts using multiple approaches and examples.
• Ability to tailor instruction to Regents/AP/college prep scopes.
• Strong communication and engaging teaching style.

Responsibilities

• Tutor 1-on-1 online sessions with HS physics students.
• Explain concepts, work through problems, and provide feedback.
• Adapt instruction to individual learning styles and pacing.
