Job summary

Sand Cherry Associates is seeking a detail-oriented HRIS Data Analyst to support a large-scale HRIS implementation. You will prepare, validate, and cleanse employee data for migration, with initial focus on data cleanup and preparation.

The role requires strong Excel skills, prior HR data experience, and the ability to work remotely 3+ months, mostly in MST/CST hours. Oil and gas/energy sector exposure is a plus; C2C is not offered.

Qualifications

• Requires HR Generalist experience with employee data (Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Acquisition).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, pivots, data validation).
• Experience with large datasets, data cleanup, reconciliation, and data quality activities.
• Experience supporting data migration or enterprise system implementation projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Extract employee and organizational data from the HR platform.
• Pull, analyze, and reconcile Excel reports from multiple sources.
• Review historical data to identify inconsistencies and gaps; clean data per rules.
• Prepare clean datasets for migration into the new HRIS platform.
