Job summary

Synthires is seeking an HR & People Operations Expert for a remote, contract role to design realistic, multi-step tasks that evaluate AI systems on HR workflows, including payroll operations, workforce planning, policy application and employee lifecycle processes. Ideal candidates have strong English proficiency (B2 minimum; C1 preferred) and hands-on HR experience.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in payroll, workforce planning, HR policy, or employee lifecycle operations.
• Strong understanding of HR workflows and the practical application of policies and procedures.
• Ability to translate real-world HR work into clearly defined, measurable tasks.
• Strong written and spoken English proficiency (B2 minimum; C1 preferred).
• Ability to work across spreadsheets, reports, and policy documents simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Design multi-step tasks based on real HR workflows, including payroll operations, workforce planning, policy application, and employee lifecycle processes.
• Define objective grading criteria that enable consistent evaluation across qualified reviewers.
• Create tasks requiring professional judgment and careful interpretation of supporting materials.
• Prepare or source relevant documents, including HR policies, payroll reports, headcount data, and employment agreements.
• Identify and flag ambiguous or ungradable tasks before submission.
• Deliver approved tasks on schedule while maintaining the required quality standards.
