Job summary

Wipro is seeking a Kubernetes-focused HPC Engineer to operate large-scale clusters across multiple clouds and drive infrastructure automation. The role is 100% remote within the United States, with a strong emphasis on reliability and scalable operations.

You will own cluster lifecycle, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for HPC workloads, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability and performance of GPU-intensive workloads.

Qualifications

• Kubernetes experience at scale including node pools, scheduling, and upgrades.
• Terraform for IaC daily and reliable automation.
• AWS services familiarity (EC2, S3, EFS, FSx for Lustre).
• Python tooling and automation experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate Kubernetes platforms (EKS, GKE, etc.) at scale, manage clusters and upgrades.
• Provision HPC infrastructure via CI/CD across multiple cloud providers.
• Manage GPU scheduling across training and inference workloads.
• Define and monitor SLIs/SLOs, build monitoring and incident post-mortems.
• Coordinate with Networking, Storage, Security, and AI/ML teams.
