Job summary

Wipro is seeking an HPC Infrastructure Engineer to design, automate, and support HPC environments on AWS. The role emphasizes Terraform IaC, Python automation, Linux administration, and AWS services.

This is a USA-based remote position with compensation ranging from $100,000 to $220,000 annually. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience building compute clusters, managing storage and networking, and supporting HPC schedulers like Slurm.

Qualifications

• Strong HPC infrastructure/cluster engineering experience.
• Hands-on AWS cloud experience.
• Advanced Terraform/IaC skills.
• Strong Python scripting and automation experience.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Slurm or similar HPC schedulers.
• Knowledge of HPC compute, storage, and networking.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support scalable HPC environments on AWS.
• Build and manage compute clusters, networking, storage, and HPC workloads.
• Develop reusable Terraform modules for Infrastructure as Code.
• Use Python to automate provisioning, monitoring, configuration, and tasks.
• Support HPC schedulers such as Slurm or AWS Batch.
• Monitor and optimize cluster performance and resource utilization.
• Troubleshoot Linux, compute, storage, networking issues.
• Implement CI/CD and automation for infrastructure deployments.
