Assistant Secretary for Housing-Federal Housing Commissioner in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development is seeking a Housing Program Specialist (Project Manager) at the GS-14 level in Atlanta, GA.

The role oversees project management and related contracts while supporting modernization initiatives across housing programs. The position offers telework eligibility, a salary range of $112,556 to $187,093 per year, and opportunities through the Fed Transition pathway.

Qualifications

• Performs or direct the performance of projects and contracts related to a variety of Housing operational functions.
• Develop policies, strategies, and plans for programs/projects in the business development area for agency-wide application.
• Provide advisory and program assistance to HQ and Office of Housing officials and to field counterparts.

Responsabilités

• Performs or directs the performance of projects and contracts related to a variety of Housing operational functions.
• Facilitate project management activities; directing special projects, reviews and analyses of emergent and long-term modernization management issues; assimilating data and providing reports.
• Develop policies, strategies, and plans for programs/projects in the business development area for agency-wide application.
• Perform analytical studies involving issues related to key agency programs and/or programs impacting one or several major agency organizations.
• Provide advisory and program assistance to both key HQ and Office of Housing officials and to counterparts in field administrative services components.
