Job summary

AMA Atlanta is looking for a Housing Services Administrator to manage tenant-based rental assistance for low-income families through the Atlanta Housing Choice Voucher Program. This role involves eligibility screenings, subsidy assistance calculations, and ongoing participant assistance.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least five years of demonstrated experience managing large caseloads. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

The position primarily works in an office environment, requiring a valid Georgia driver's license and may involve occasional home visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, urban studies, human or social services, or 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of five years managing caseloads of 400+ participants in public assistance programs.
• Proficiency with technology and software used on-the-job.

Responsibilities

• Administers activities for the Housing Choice Voucher Program for 400 – 500 participants.
• Conducts initial certification and periodic recertification of participants.
• Provides excellent direct customer service to participants.
