Job summary

micro1 is seeking Hospitalist Physicians to contribute as Contractors on a remote inpatient care project that supports AI training and data quality. You will review medical records, verify documentation accuracy (HPI, PMH, assessments), flag inconsistencies, and provide detailed feedback to help models learn and improve patient care workflows, all while collaborating with the project team.

This role requires board certification in IM/PI/Hospital Medicine, inpatient experience, and meticulous

Qualifications

• MD or DO, board certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Hospital Medicine.
• Current or recent inpatient/hospitalist experience (within the last 2 years).
• Strong understanding of inpatient documentation and hospital workflows.
• Comfortable reviewing clinical notes and raw medical record data.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clear guidelines consistently.
• Experience with chart review, clinical documentation improvement, utilization review, or medical coding/QA is a plus.
• Experience working across different inpatient services or specialties is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records, including FHIR data and clinical notes for AI Training.
• Check whether clinical information and claims are supported by the medical record.
• Review inpatient documentation, including HPI, PMH, assessments, and plans.
• Follow clear guidelines and apply the same standards consistently.
• Identify missing, incorrect, or inconsistent information in medical records.
• Share feedback to help improve AI models and data quality.
• Communicate clearly with the project team about your work and findings.
