Job description

Hire Up Healthcare is currently seeking a Remote Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist for a 12-week local contract at a hospital facility in California. This is a great opportunity to work with a well-known organization. Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in a hospital setting.

Job Summary :
  • Responsible for appointment and reappointment processes and ongoing evaluations for the organized medical staff.
Pay :
Essential Functions :
  • Manage all credentialing functions for medical and allied health staff, including appointment, reappointment, privileging, ongoing professional practice evaluations, focused professional practice evaluations / proctoring, and provisional review to ensure compliance with bylaws, rules, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Coordinate meeting management (agenda, minutes, follow-up) for medical staff departments and committees.
  • Stay current with medical staff bylaws, rules, regulations, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain medical staff database, official rosters, call schedules, and related documents to ensure regulatory compliance. Manage medical staff dues & fees.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all medical staff matters.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements :
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a hospital setting.
  • High School Education / GED or equivalent.
