Interfaith Housing Alliance seeks a Homeownership Program Manager to administer homeownership programs, educate applicants, and guide them through the purchase process. The role liaises with lenders, title companies, funding partners, and community organizations to ensure safe, sustainable homeownership outcomes.

The position emphasizes program administration, regulatory compliance, data management, and outreach, with remote work flexibility and required local presence in Frederick County, MD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with relevant housing/ nonprofit experience.
• Three to five years in affordable housing, community development, mortgage lending or related nonprofit field.
• Homeownership counseling certification, mortgage lending and loan packaging experience, or a real estate license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage homebuyer process from inquiry through post-purchase follow-up and coordinate financing.
• Maintain participant files in Salesforce and prepare loan packages, ensuring timeliness and compliance.
• Promote programs through community outreach, partnerships, and educational events.
• Maintain accurate program data and prepare reports required by funders and leadership.
