Job summary

AIS Healthcare seeks a PRN Home Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to provide immune globulin infusion therapies in patients' homes in the Macon, GA area. This remote, autonomous role offers one-on-one nursing visits and patient education per physician plans, with travel between patient sites and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current license in Georgia and ability to be licensed in other states.
• Minimum one year nursing experience; IV-related experience a plus
• Have and maintain current CPR certification
• Possess a valid and current driver's license and auto insurance (Liability limits of at least $100,000/$300,000)
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word to document and track patient care activity.

Responsibilities

• Provide immune globulin infusion therapies in patients' homes.
• Provide one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician's plan of treatment.
• Travel to patients' homes in the Macon area with occasional travel up to 150–200 miles one way; travel time paid and mileage reimbursed.
• Interact with the patient, physician, pharmacist and other partners with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Maintain ongoing training on leading edge technology and clinical requirements in infusion.
• Certification and recertification expenses can be reimbursed for eligible RNs such as Immune Globulin Certified Nurse (IgCN).
