Job summary

Northwood Technical College in New Richmond, WI seeks a full-time Health Information Technology Instructor for the HIT program. The role includes program administration, curriculum development, and delivering instruction across in-person, online, and hybrid formats. The position may be fully online/remote to meet program needs.

The instructor will lead curriculum development, ensure accreditation, manage course schedules, and collaborate with academic leadership to support student success in HIT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in field or closely related field required.
• RHIT or RHIA certification required.
• Ability to obtain driver’s license and maintain required insurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, revise, and deliver HIT curriculum across multiple delivery modes (face-to-face, online, hybrid).
• Lead program planning, evaluation, and CAHIIM accreditation activities.
• Coordinate HIT program with Dean/Associate Dean and schedule courses and faculty.
