NeerInfo Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Coordinator to join our remote CDI team as a second-level reviewer and SME.

You will manage work queues, perform post‑coding reviews, review audit recommendations, and mentor the CDI team on complex coding and queries. Requirements include an active RN license, CDI certification (CCDS or CDIP), and at least 3 years of acute hospital CDI experience (academic environment preferred).

Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Coordinator (Remote)

Location: Fully Remote

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Coordinator to join our team as an expert second-level CDI reviewer and subject matter expert. In this role, you will manage work queues, perform post-coding/pre-bill reviews, review audit recommendations, and provide mentorship and guidance to the CDI team on complex coding, query, and procedure-coding questions.

Key Responsibilities

• Expert Review & Mentorship: Serve as a clinical subject matter expert, mentor, and liaison for the CDI, Coding, and Quality Teams, supporting ongoing education and training.
• Clinical Reviews: Perform second-level clinical reviews for high-impact targeted metrics (including targeted DRGs, DRG mismatches, compliance, and CDI quality).
• PSI & Query Management: Review potential Patient Safety Indicators (PSIs) for exclusions and manage the concurrent physician query escalation process to ensure completion prior to discharge.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with leadership, service line physician champions, Physician Advisors, and healthcare team members to resolve complex coding and query challenges.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Certification: Current CDI certification required—either Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) or Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of acute hospital-based CDI experience (experience in an academic environment is strongly preferred).
• Knowledge Base: Expert-level command of CDI guidelines, Coding Clinics, and compliant query practices. (A Bachelor’s degree is preferred).

Schedule & Productivity Expectations

Schedule: Full-time, 8-hour day with a consistent set schedule. Flexible start times between 5:00 AM – 9:00 AM Central Time (day-shift hours preferred).

Productivity Goals: Approximately 18–22 chart reviews per day, maintaining a 20% query rate, 90% physician response rate, and 85% agreement rate.
