Bryan University is seeking a part-time, remote HIM Adjunct Instructor to deliver assigned courses, host bi-weekly live sessions via Zoom, and provide timely feedback to students while maintaining accurate academic records.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Health Information or related field (Master's preferred) and has 3 years of HIM, Coding, or Revenue Cycle experience. Online teaching experience and comfort using multiple software programs are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HIM, Healthcare Administration, Medical Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 3 years of professional HIM, Coding, or Revenue Cycle experience required.
• RHIA or RHIT preferred; Coding certification (CCS, CCS-P, CPC, COC, or CIC) required
• Previous online teaching experience preferred
• Ability to work in a virtual environment using multiple software programs simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Instruct assigned courses and host bi-weekly live sessions via Zoom
• Provide timely feedback on student progress and outreach to engage at-risk students
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and participate in required meetings and training
