Job summary

ArchKey Solutions in Saint Louis area seeks a High Voltage Estimator to drive project estimates, bid reviews and value analyses. The role emphasizes analytical rigor, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards across electrical construction projects.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience in construction management or a related field.
• Minimum 1-5 years of electrical construction experience in estimating, codes, and design/build estimating.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical contracts, plans, drawings and specs. Knowledge of electrical codes.
• Strong communication and documentation skills; project life cycle understanding.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for estimating activities of each project, ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Review bid documents with project manager and chief estimator to determine expenses and labor rates.
• Survey job sites as needed and use estimating software to produce estimates.
• Draft estimate documents in a professional manner and support procurement and proposal activities.
• Collaborate with purchasing and design teams to ensure constructible plans and reduce risk.
• Provide coaching and training to colleagues and maintain safety standards.
