Job summary

Connections Education LLC is seeking a High School Principal for Alabama Connections Academy (ALCA) to lead teachers as they support parents and students in an online-based instructional program. The role focuses on maintaining high levels of academic achievement, professional communication, and program execution across staff, families and students.

Based in Athens, AL or a home office, the Principal will supervise staff, coordinate testing, recruit and engage families, and ensure successful

Qualifications

Alabama Administrative certification is required.
Master of Education degree is preferred.
Experience in managing people in a school environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Manage teachers as they consult with parents and students to ensure completion of the instructional program.
Oversee school operations and implement curriculum and operating protocols.
Maintain professional communication with staff, students and families.
Lead parent outreach activities and inform families about program information.
Coordinate state standardized testing processes and ensure high participation.
Supervise and evaluate instructional staff as required by the state and Connections Academy.
