Job summary

Arkansas Connections Academy seeks a High School Math Teacher to manage instruction for the ARCA program from the Bentonville area or a home office within the state. You will grade, generate reports, and conduct parent conferences while delivering asynchronous and synchronous content.

Role requires Arkansas certification for Secondary Math, strong tech skills with MS Office and Google Suite, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

Must hold Arkansas Secondary Math certification.
Highly qualified and certified to teach Secondary Math in Arkansas.
Strong technology skills with Microsoft OS, MS Office, and Google Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Willingness to travel for marketing and state testing events.
Ability to work remotely.
Must reside in Arkansas or within 300 miles of Bentonville.

Responsibilities

Complete grading, create progress reports and conduct parent conferences.
Support instructional program with asynchronous web conferences and synchronous instruction.
Review curriculum and adapt lessons to increase student understanding.
Communicate with parents, students and teachers to develop Learning Plans and schedules.
Collaborate with faculty to ensure students progress and coordination with parents.
Maintain student records, attendance data and logs of contacts.
Coordinate field trips and integrate them into the curriculum.
Participate in State Testing administration and related activities.
