Job summary

Michigan Connections Academy seeks certified teachers to manage instructional programs from a home office or Michigan office. You will conduct asynchronous and synchronous sessions, grade work, prepare progress reports, and hold parent conferences to support each student's learning plan.

You will collaborate with families and fellow teachers, maintain records, adapt lessons for diverse learners, and assist with state testing and outreach activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Qualified and certified to teach in Michigan.
• Excellent communication with students and parents.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver asynchronous and synchronous instruction virtually.
• Grade assignments, create progress reports, and conduct parent conferences.
• Maintain up-to-date student records and attendance.
• Coordinate with families and teachers to develop learning plans.
• Support field trips and state testing coordination as directed.
• Participate in student recruitment sessions and other outreach as needed.
