Job summary

Stride, Inc. seeks an experienced High School Math Teacher to deliver online course content in an Ohio-resident home-based role. You will monitor progress through the LMS, coordinate with students and Learning Coaches, and ensure goals are met with regular updates.

The position requires a state-certified educator with a focus on math and the ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours weekly, with occasional travel for testing and events.

Qualifications

• Must hold Ohio Secondary Math Teaching Certificate.
• State-certified educator with math specialization.
• Ability to work independently in a home-based setup.
• Experience with online learning platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high school math content online and monitor student progress.
• Conduct live synchronous teaching and provide asynchronous support.
• Communicate regularly with families/learning coaches about student progress.
• Maintain grade book and submit grades; travel occasionally for testing.
• Collaborate with ODLS staff to align with policies and procedures.
