Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a state-certified HS Math Teacher to deliver online coursework through the Ohio Digital Learning School (ODLS). This full-time role supports students remotely, communicates with families, and conducts synchronous teaching sessions while aligning with state standards.

Requires a Bachelor's degree and a valid teaching license for Ohio. The position includes 40+ hours weekly, occasional travel for testing and events, and a $40,000 salary with a $2,000 signing bonus plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Six months of student teaching experience required
• Must meet licensed teacher requirements under Ohio laws

Responsibilities

• Takes ownership for student’s academic progress and attendance
• Prepares students for high-stakes standardized tests
• Conducts live synchronous teaching – minimum 15 hours per week
• Communicates with learning coaches/parents about student progress
• Collaborates with colleagues on instruction and data use
• Maintains grade book and reports progress to administrators
