Job summary

Stride, Inc. through Carolus Online Academy (COA) seeks a High School Math Teacher for a fully virtual role. The teacher will deliver content online, monitor progress, and support students and families in a remote setting with occasional in-person or virtual events.

A state teaching license and a Bachelor’s degree are required, with experience in online platforms and data-driven instruction. The position is full-time, typically home-based, and may involve travel for state testing and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
Active state teaching license required.
Experience with online learning platforms.
Experience teaching online or in brick-and-mortar environments.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint.
Ability to analyze student data to drive instructional decisions.
Willingness to travel occasionally for events.

Responsibilities

Augments course content using policies and guidance from principal and coach.
Maintains grade book and monitors student performance and progress.
Supports learning coaches/parents with curricular issues and basic tech troubleshooting in a virtual classroom.
Travels periodically for professional development, testing, and school needs.
