Job summary

Stride, Inc., a partner with Carolus Online Academy (COA), seeks a High School Math Teacher to deliver online instruction for grades 9–12. The role is virtual, with occasional travel for state testing and professional development.

Requires a state teaching license, online teaching experience, and the ability to work from home in South Carolina. Salary is $51,000 plus eligibility for a performance bonus; start date for the 2026/2027 school year.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and active state teaching license.
Experience teaching online or in a brick-and-mortar setting.
Experience with online learning platforms.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint.
Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers to analyze and use student data for instructional decisions.
Willingness to receive coaching regularly.

Responsibilities

Augments course content using asynchronous and synchronous tools under guidance from principal and coach.
Maintains grade book and monitors student progress and integrity.
Supports learning coaches/parents with curricular issues and basic tech troubleshooting.
Travels as required for professional development and testing, approximately 20% of the time.
