Job summary

Stride, Inc. is hiring a remote Substitute Middle School Math Teacher for Indiana Digital Learning School (INDLS).

This is a contract/hourly role, with an expected roughly 40+ hours per week and localization preferences for Indiana or nearby states. The teacher delivers online instruction, tracks progress in the learning management system, and communicates with families and learning coaches to meet individualized goals, while maintaining professional home-office standards and travel as needed

Qualifications

• Must clear required background check.
• Ability to work with data to drive instructional decisions.
• Comfort with online teaching tools and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging synchronous and asynchronous math instruction.
• Monitor student progress using the learning management system.
• Communicate regularly with families/learning coaches about student progress.
• Differentiate instruction to meet student needs and mastery levels.
• Prepare students for state assessments and standardized tests.
• Maintain accurate grade books and placement decisions.
• Travel for required professional development and assessments as needed.
