Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Thought Leader Liaison to build and manage strategic relationships with U.S. External Experts across hepatology and related therapeutic areas.

The role involves planning and coordinating insight generation through expert interactions, congresses, and executive engagements in collaboration with commercial, medical, and regulatory partners. Remote work is supported, with extensive travel across geographies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in field sales, product marketing, or medical/clinical roles within pharma or biotech.
• Specialty Hepatology/GI experience required in one of the above functions.
• Experience presenting to executive audiences (live and virtual) and influencing strategic decisions.
• Experience leveraging insights to guide strategy development and respond to evolving data and market dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with assigned External Experts.
• Plan and execute compliant External Expert engagements aligned to brand priorities and External Expert needs.
• Segment and manage a thought leader network to optimize engagement and insight generation.
• Compliantly elicit, document, and synthesize clinical, competitive, and strategic insights.
• Share insights with senior leadership to inform brand strategy, resource allocation, and tactics.
