Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline seeks a Thought Leader Liaison to build strategic relationships with External Experts across the U.S. This role drives insights to inform brand strategy and coordinates engagements with commercial, medical, and regulatory partners while maintaining executive presence and compliance.

Hepatology/GI expertise is preferred, with a goal to accelerate adoption of novel therapies across seven geographies in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in field sales, product marketing, or medical/clinical roles within pharma or biotech.
• Specialty Hepatology/GI experience required in one of the above functions.
• Experience presenting to executive audiences and influencing strategic decisions.
• Willingness to travel 60-80%, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with External Experts through meaningful interactions.
• Plan and execute compliant External Expert engagements aligned to brand priorities.
• Segment and manage a thought leader network to optimize engagement and insight generation.
• Coordinate and support External Expert executive interactions with commercial leadership.
• Enable peer-to-peer education through speaker recommendations and sponsorship initiatives.
