Job summary

McDowell Mountain Law, a healthcare-focused transactional firm with national reach, seeks a skilled health care transactional attorney to join its practice 100% remote. Candidates with a minimum of 3 years of health law experience in transactional work, regulatory due diligence, and contracting are encouraged to apply.

Ideal candidates will advise clients on healthcare transactions, draft and negotiate agreements, and navigate Stark Law, Anti-Kickback, HIPAA, and related regulations.

Qualifications

• Requires Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• State bar admission is required or candidates must be eligible for admission.
• Minimum 3 years of health law experience with strong transactional skills.

Responsibilities

• Support deal flow and transactional matters, including due diligence and contracting.
• Advise on healthcare-related regulatory issues and corporate governance documents.
• Draft, evaluate, and negotiate healthcare agreements (joint ventures, vendor, and BAAs).
• Apply expertise in Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, and privacy regulations.
