Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Business Analyst II for a Health Insurance client. This remote position focuses on analyzing business applications, processes and technology, delivering recommendations and requirements to business partners and IT leadership.

The role includes leading JAD sessions using waterfall and agile methods, performing high-level systems analysis, documenting business requirements and readiness plans, and guiding migrations to future states.

Qualifications

• Previous healthcare payor experience as a business analyst
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support to a specific group of customers on business applications, processes and technology related activities.
• Identify healthcare business application and process improvement opportunities, submitting recommendations to business partner and IT leadership.
• Act as a key project/workgroup team member in value identification and measurement, requirements definition and testing activities.
• Provide guidance, assistance, coordination and follow-up on complex problems and ensures resolution.
• Develop and distribute communication materials that assist with adoption of application and process enhancements.
• Assist customers on their migration to new or revised products, applications and platforms.
• Lead JAD sessions using waterfall & agile methodologies; manage requirements and communicate clearly.
• Perform high-level systems analysis based on defined requirements.
• Analyze and document information and data to achieve business goals.
• Create project documentation: business requirements, risks/issues, readiness plans, communication plans, policy documentation
• Conduct meetings with subject matter experts; translate complex systems/processes into system/business processes
• Coordinate migration procedures to achieve future states
• Document current and target state business processes and requirements
• Document decision framework and action items
• Act as intermediary between business units, technology teams and support teams
• Work closely with subject matter experts and business partners
• Document functionality and changes affecting stakeholders
• Define scope of activities to address issues including requirements and process improvements
• Support IT delivery/technical leads to meet project goals
• Understand technical designs and specifications
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes
• Support SIT and UAT
