Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Manager-level Healthcare Payer Bid Manager to lead end-to-end proposal management for strategic payer opportunities. You will drive competitive, compliant, and compelling responses across RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, renewals, and transformation pursuits.

You will coordinate with sales, solutioning, operations, pricing, technology, legal, and executives to shape win strategies and deliver high-quality submissions aligned with client requirements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in healthcare payer operations, bid/proposal management, or BPaaS services.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across Sales, Solutioning, Pricing, Operations, Technology, and Legal.
• Strong PM, stakeholder mgmt, and executive communication under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid, ACA and related payer markets is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end bid management for RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, renewals, and BAFOs.
• Coordinate cross-functional pursuit teams and drive submission readiness.
• Analyze customer requirements and ensure compliant, high-quality responses.
• Prepare executives for client presentations and provide status reporting.
