Job summary

Ankura is seeking a Healthcare Architectural Planner to lead planning and programming of healthcare environments across the US. This remote role partners with health system leadership, internal teams, and consultants to translate objectives into adaptable facilities.

The ideal candidate will have strong healthcare planning experience, analytical skills, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office to support budgeting, space planning, and strategic investments.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in healthcare architecture or hospital planning.
• Experience with master planning, programming, renovations, and capital planning.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic facilities master planning through healthcare planning and programming.
• Perform space needs assessments, occupancy studies, and department evaluations.
• Develop functional programs and space allocation aligned with goals.
• Evaluate patient flow and staff workflows to inform planning.
• Prepare concepts, adjacency diagrams, and test-fit studies.
• Facilitate workshops and planning sessions with stakeholders.
• Develop conceptual project budgets and order-of-magnitude estimates.
• Support capital planning and investment decision-making.
• Create planning reports and dashboards for executives.
• Ensure alignment with clinical workflows and industry best practices.
