Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking a Technical Analyst/Data Analyst to join our remote team and help optimize Medicaid pharmacy claims processing. You will translate business requirements into technical specifications, perform data extraction and validation with advanced SQL, and collaborate with analysts, QA, and developers across SDLC.

This full-time role requires 3–5 years in healthcare data analysis and familiarity with DEDs, NDC pricing, DUR edits, PA workflows, and NCPDP interfaces.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a technical analyst or healthcare systems analyst role.
• Advanced SQL skills with data extraction, transformation, and validation.
• Strong understanding of Medicaid pharmacy claims processing and pricing rules.
• Experience with Data Element Dictionaries (DEDs) and pharmacy-related interfaces (NCPDP).

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data models.
• Analyze data flows and integration logic across modules.
• Collaborate with BAs, QA, and configuration teams to align requirements with architecture.
• Mentor junior analysts on data standards and SQL best practices.
