You’ll work on healthcare content, learn AMA style, and gain exposure to how strategy, copy, art, and science come together to create effective work. This freelance/contract role is 100% remote and ideal for learning the essentials of agency operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, writing, or related field.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop social content for healthcare clients and key audiences— healthcare professionals (80%) and patients (20%).
• Gains general medical knowledge in therapeutic areas and understanding of audiences.
• Support internal creative copywriting initiatives.
• Write content that is on-strategy and in language that's compelling and differentiating; performs basic proofing of content, paying attention to the relationship with art and copy.
• Learn annotation, reference and apply AMA style across creative projects.
• Support senior writers on assigned projects to develop and refine creative ideas.
• Learn the fundamentals of healthcare marketing: agency operations, copywriter-art director partnerships, FDA standards, translating clinical data into promotional messages.
