Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• LICENSURE CPC is required.
• Thorough understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, and coding with demonstrated experience in provider coding.

Responsibilities

• Manages and monitors technology needs, conducts inventory, and system requirements for the assigned departments.
• Manages and coordinates training sessions for assigned departments when new policies or practices are adopted.
• Ensures compliance with University and federal regulations as they apply to the assigned departments.
• Identifies and assists with the development of administrative policies for the assigned departments.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
