You will review records, collaborate with providers and compliance teams, conduct audits, educate staff, and generate reports while maintaining HIPAA and CMS guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years post-secondary education in a medical or business-related field preferred.
• Coding certification (CCS-P, CPC, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC-H) required.

Responsibilities

• Review patient records and coded data to identify discrepancies.
• Collaborate with providers, coders, and compliance teams to ensure accurate coding practices.
• Conduct chart reviews to evaluate coding accuracy and documentation quality.
• Participate in routine audits to maintain high standards of coding accuracy and compliance.
