Job summary

Real Chemistry seeks a Business Intelligence Solution Developer to ensure healthcare marketing data is accurate and reporting-ready. You will bridge Data Engineering, analytics, and client stakeholders, owning data ingestion, quality, and data modeling in Databricks.

This role can be remote within the United States or office locations nationwide, including New York City, Boston, Chicago, Lambertville, NJ, San Francisco, or Carmel, IN.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and Python skills in a Databricks environment.
• Experience using ETL tools and data manipulation concepts (Funnel.io, DBT, or similar).
• Comfort partnering with Data Engineering on data sources, schemas, and refresh logic.
• Deep analytical and problem-solving skills related to data storage and structure for reporting.
• Experience reviewing data logic, KPI definitions, and QA outputs.
• Basic BI skills (Tableau, Power BI) including data modeling and dashboard structure.
• Strong written and verbal communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to translate complex business reporting requests into modeled data.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the onboarding of new client data sources and data feeds.
• Partner with Data Engineering to ensure successful ingestion into Databricks.
• Monitor data delivery schedules and ingestion processes.
• Maintain source documentation, field mappings, and data inventories.
• Work with internal teams to resolve source-related issues.
• Monitor data freshness, completeness, and accuracy across datasets.
• Develop client-specific standard, custom, and master tables and reporting views in Databricks.
• Support cross-functional teams to align on data outputs and expectations.
• Assist Power BI developers and analysts with data-related questions and validation.
