Job summary

UW Medicine Outreach Coordinator position within the University of Washington’s Outreach Program. This field-based role covers western Washington, with travel to clinics and referral staff, while maintaining strong relationships across the region.

Your work focuses on building partnerships, learning barriers to referrals, and coordinating with UW Medicine service lines to implement improvements. You will spend most weeks in the field visiting practices, managers, and referral staff, documenting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or Strategic Planning.
• Four years of experience in program development and marketing including Outreach, Sales, Planning, Data Analysis, Presentation skills.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with referring clinics, hospitals and health systems across the central Puget Sound region.
• Spend most of your week in the field — visiting practices, sitting down with clinic managers and referral staff, learning what gets in the way of a smooth referral, and bringing that back to our service lines so we can provide remedies.
• Plan and run a regular visit cadence for assigned accounts, and document what you learn after each visit.
• Work with UW Medicine teams to resolve access problems, scheduling barriers and communication gaps that partners raise.
• Represent UW Medicine at regional conferences, continuing education events and partner meetings.
• Share learnings from the field i.e. competitor activity, staffing changes, service gaps and new programs with the outreach team and service line leaders
• Keep account and contact records current in the customer relationship management system
