Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a Program Analyst, Health IT to lead operational implementation of outpatient quality programs and data collection operations across cardiovascular care initiatives. This remote role collaborates with multiple departments to train and deploy program resources, ensuring timely, accurate insights and scalable program growth.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree, 3 years of PM experience, and strong data storytelling with advanced Excel and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 3 years of project management experience with timelines and stakeholder communication.
• Experience with data storytelling and intermediate to advanced Excel-based reporting.
• Experience in outpatient health care or public health, with quality improvement focus.
• Strong ability to develop engaging presentations and education materials.
• Comfort with clinical quality measures and data-driven improvement.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills (live and virtual).
• Willingness to travel ~10% including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Plan, consult, and analyze clinical, operational, and program data needs to identify problems and opportunities to improve design and experience.
• Engage clinical leadership and partners to advance quality improvement across outpatient cardiovascular programs.
• Operationalize data collection, validation, reporting, and QA with internal teams and external customers.
• Support Health IT-enabled program functions, including data submission processes and platform workflows.
• Analyze trends and feedback to inform recommendations and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate across the American Heart Association to align Health IT and program priorities.
