Job summary

Datavant is seeking a detail‑oriented Health Records Clerk to join our remote team. You will receive and process requests for patient health information, maintain HIPAA compliance, and document activity across multiple platforms using standard software.

You should have a High School Diploma or GED, strong data entry skills, and comfortable with office equipment. The role includes training, equipment provided, and full benefits as we support a high‑volume production environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Strong data entry skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process requests for patient health information.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of privileged information.
• Maintain working knowledge of company and facility software.
• Adhere to company policies and customer facility Code of Conduct.
• Inform manager of work, site difficulties, and/or fluctuating volumes.
• Respond to requests for patient records and deliver them appropriately.
• Answer inbound/outbound calls.
• May assist with patient walk‑ins and basic administrative duties.
