Job summary

Datavant is seeking an entry-level ROI clerk to process medical record requests with accuracy and HIPAA compliance. This remote, full-time role supports patients, insurers, and attorneys while safeguarding privacy across multiple platforms.

You will handle calls, document workflows, and maintain records with strong data entry and office software skills. Training is provided, equipment is supplied, and benefits include PTO, health/dental/vision and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Attention to detail and accuracy for medical records.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong data entry speed and accuracy.
• Professional communication in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process requests for patient health information in accordance with policies and HIPAA.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of patient data across systems.
• Maintain working knowledge of facility software and EHR tools.
• Respond to patient, insurer, and attorney requests via calls and messages.
• Assist with administrative duties such as faxes and data entry as needed.
